I really hope this machine won't be used for gaming

You could probably find a free case if you're not too picky, just ask some tech stores if they have any atx cases they're throwing out.

If you're really lucky you might be able to pick up a used Asus A7N8X, some old amd cpu, something like a geforce 4200ti, a basic 300watt psu, 512mb of very generic ram and a basic harddrive for around 300 used. The motherboard has integrated audio and networking, so you won't have to spend anything on that.

That's actually a pretty good deal, though if you can stretch, go for a gig of ram

Im from USA and I think our deals are pretty good (volume discount)

We just have many more stores compeating for business. There has to be a way to get stuff here.

I just built a good system here

754 mobo and 2800 cpu $79
1 gig corsair ddr 400 $75
Ati X800 GTO 256 DDR 3 ram $135
Maxtor 250 gig hd (16 mb cache) $86

There is a reason you got it cheap!...

Oh and to say the USA has more stores competing for business is competely absurd. There is no national IT market... its an International one!.. and our prices are about the same, because they have to be. Its just my national currency is worth more than yours! :P
