Hi again,

With the release of the new intel-series i've been fallen in love...

So i want to upgrade my current hardware-configuration B)

What do you guys think of the next config?

cpu Intel core 2 duo E6600
gpu Club3D GeForce 7900GT 256MB
ram OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Special Ops Edition Dual Channel 2X1024Mb
mob MSI 975X Platinum PowerUp Edition
hdd 2 * Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 320gb in raid0
aud Sound blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic
tft Samsung SyncMaster 940BF 19'' 2Ms

How long will it take to be food for my trashcan?
Whould it run crysis/ut2007 ?

Well, in pc land everything is ready for the trashcan one day after release. Development goes so fast here but your computer should be able to run Crysis just fine (except for the fact that Crysis will use directx10 but there aren't any cards for that yet)

Nice setup, what kind of psu are you gonna be buying?

Ok, I am guessing you are gonna go for the 450w so all should be fine with your rig.

Do you like Western Digital think I would go with Western Digital Raptor X 150GB 10,000RPM SATA 16MB Cache (SCSI performance) :thumbup:
I know they are a lot of money but one hell of a drive

Be like me and go for RAID 5 or 6...just for the keck of it...and don't get a GT graCa.

Nice rig, but I'd choose a more popular brand of PSU such as Antec or Enermax just becuase of their sterling reputations. I'd also choose an Radeon x1900xt instead of the Geforce 7900gt, but that's a minor thing really. One other thing, is a 2ms monitor really needed? I have a 19" 8ms monitor and shows no ghosting whatsoever.

Which monitor am I talking about? I was talking about the Samsung one you had in your specs tft Samsung SyncMaster 940BF 19'' 2Ms.
