I just got a new gaming PC thought it was time to upgrade anyway here's what i built for a £1000 (the moniter, mouse and keyboard allready had)
I went for 1GB ram i will upgrade when need to so far it kicks arse with all the games ive played, i only really play all the COD game online but HL2, FEAR, and CS Source, and GR Advanced run sweet, My COD 2 online FPS is about 200 on DX7 full max settings on HL2 around 140 so not bad the duel core is well fast in genral tasks and u really notice the difference even though the software for proper duelcore aint really made an apperance, as for my sound i allways use haedphones so never really use PC for listening to music so went for onboard anyway whats your thoughts... I got it from Cyberpower they build it and you choose the parts you start with a basic PC and upgrade, i know i could have done it cheaper myself but just didn't want the hassel. Me and my mate was gonna do it ourself but you get a 3 year warrenty with there ones and its ready to use were as i would have to install everything and i just no 1 stupid thing will go wrong so i went for there service, it came earler than i was told (Normally late when you look forward to something) lol as for ram i will upgrads when i need it she flys with anything i throw at here so ok for now, anyway the misses will kill me lol if i spend more dosh on myPC you know women and men with there toys.
