buying mouse and keyboard

I am looking at some cool combos [ mouse + keyboard ] in zipzoomfly.com but also there are r a lot of nice things in newegg.com
I have a 17" laptop and i was wondering what mouse and keyboard to buy.. a friend told me that its not a good idea to buy a wireless mouse has lag! is it true? can u also tell me what exactly means battery life?

I am also buying a mousepad. If u guys can help me with links to some good game pads i will be greatfull! Thanks in advance -,-

Gotta say jep this is the best mouse to get at the moment inmho too.

I had a couple of wireless mouses, which all sucked eggs, as an fps player
you got to have a corded mouse..

I be using a standard Logitech Corded Keyboard the black one, but I´m
no expert but almost everyone uses logitech keyboard products...

Keyboard: G15, dunno, but it kinda grew on me even i first disliked it because you have to spens some time to programm it for each game....more or less.

Gamepad: XBOX 360 for PC, havn't seen any better controller than this one. But you should get an 3rd party config tool sinse MS doesn't think it's nesessary to make one

Whatever Logitech Keyboard you can find IMO will do fine.

360 gamepad is great like kami said if you can program it right, they also commin out with a wireless thingy so you can use your wireless pads also.
I have a Logitech wireless desktop myself have just loved the freedom that comes with it.

The useless miniscreen of the G15 rulz. You can look at it. you can flip it open and close it back down as you like. You can even turn the lights on and off. It#s like a lil game in itself
