Heheh, just think of it as a big gaming laptop for a very nice price.

Woah, sweet laptop. I don't think I've ever seen a 7200rpm HDD in a laptop before. Saying that, I rarely look at laptops.

How much did it set you back?

Pretty sweet the ONLY thing I would have change is the screen...17 or 20" for a gaming laptop

i payed 1700 euros, which is about 2200 dollars. And a right nut. that isnt much for such a big laptop.

about the 15,4'', its the biggest i can afford, AND make it easy to travel with it. After all, its still a studynotebook. It is wide-screen you know. big enough for me. In fact, its even higher-reso than my Syncmaster 940b.

and indeed, the disc is friggin fast, the vidcard about the same as an x1600 (there are numourous reviews, no real difference is seen). and on top of that a dual core 2, 2,0ghz makes my vidcard even go faster. and i didn't even mention the ddr2 2gb ram

im so excited. im supposed to recieve it in the following weeks. payment already recieved by the retailer. Wow, this thing is a monster and i really outdone myself this time.
