Just 3.3ghz! :Oo: I'm a bit disappointed with your results
If that’s the best EVGA can do then it ain’t much better than Striker. I'm shocked. Tell me this isn't your max overclock? ![]() By the way would you be a sweetheart and post your IDLE core temperatures? Please :P

Oh no, it will clock higher :-) This is just the speed I'm gonna run it at full time.
As for my idle temp, it really all depends on what I use to check it. Nvidia Monitor says 40dC, Speed Fan says 41dC, Core Temp says 48dC and my Digital Thermometer says 34.6dC.

Good, I can't wait to see how far ya can stretch it :P
What kind of cooling are ya running? I have my CPU, rams and both of my GFX cards watercooled and besides from Nvidia monitor our temperatures seem to be about the same 46-48C with Core temp. "Clocked at 3.33ghz/1.42vcore" max with the old bios was 3.49ghz/1.55 Haven't bothered to try with the new bios yet ![]()

Those are motherboard given temperatures, right? Nvidia monitor? ;) Try running Core Temp or Intels own DTS readout software.
I just can't belive those temps. Thats one hellof a air cooling If those are your true core temps.

My temps are all on Air. I'm using a CoolerMaster GeminII
with (2) Silverstone 120mm fans. Here's a couple links to the Heatsink. http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/Products.aspx?pid=1295 http://hardware.gamershell.com/articles/ca...-master-geminii

yeah well I don't trust bios readouts anymore too inaccurate if ya ask me. 29C "my bios readout" is just too low to be true ;) but then again it doesn't mean your motherboards is as inaccurate as mine Still I’d like to see more people reporting their core2/quad temps given by Core temp.

I'm not a fan of core temp either. I prefer my digital thermometer. My 1st Core2Duo
was an E6300 and I used it with 2 differnt brands of mobo's (Intel D975XBX and EVGA 6801 SLI). Using the exact same voltage settings (at stock and overclocked speeds) the digital thermometer showed almost identical temps while core temp, speedfan and the supplied mobo hardware monitors all showed a difference of 5-10dC. While core temp is reading a diode in the chip, the signal still has to travel thru mobo circuitry before the core temp software reads the signal. But everyone can't go out and buy a good digital thermometer so I will recommend Core Temp over the other alternatives. XFX finally sent me (2) 8800GTX's in a trade in for my 7950GX2's :-) I'm running Vista so I'm still waiting on some good drivers. Plus I need to get some better cooling than the stock heatsinks. But I ran a 13553 in 3DMark06 with no video overclock or abnormal settings to boost my score. 13553 http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=2205970
