Wow I can't imagine fitting anything else in there after adding the 3rd card. I'd say its rly impractical for the relatively small performance increase it has to offer. But what ever you have to do to score higher at 3dmark
I'm waiting for the 9900 series for my next upgrade unless they fail to deliver as well

They really haven't increased my 3DMark score by much. But I wanted to check them out and do a review for my new site. I sold my 8800GTX's so the 9800's were almost free so to speak. It cost me $100 to upgrade to 9800 SLI. I'll be replacing the 7800GTX in my workstation with the 3rd card once my tri-SLI review is done. And hopefully I'll be able to sell the 9800's when the 9900's come out :-)

Maybe we can work a deal on that 7800 later.

Not a lot of room for aftermarket cooling there!

It seems there is only a distance of 2 mm or so between the cards. I can not imagine that the fans will still do their work properly.

I've got pretty good cooling going on. Here's a link to a review I've recently done :-)
