Actually I've been sponsoring a case mod over at HardwareHell for a member
from France. I've been sending him stuff from NewEgg for awhile now. When the
case mod is done I'll be giving it away to some lucky member. If you want to
check it out go here :-)
http://hardware.gamershell.com/forum/showt...read.php?t=2394
Feel free to join the Forum while your there. GamersHell and HardwareHell
are both part of the same network so were really one big happy family :-)
I'd luv to see some of you visiting occasionally. Anyways, I'd be more than
willing to order and send you parts from Newegg if Nxs can't for some reason :-)

wow, interesting new breeze you give this hot forums around here slay, long time no see!
on a side note:
OMGWTF! that things awe-some! omg. omg. omg. errr, yeah, cool.
lol, my desktop barely pulls 2500 3dmarks06 :P
also, that procesoor you have; is it any good? ive seen like alot of AMD around, but dual core desktop pc's are kind of new to me. how is it holding out?
tests suck. gimme extreme reso-game picks! resolutions that will floodcrash imageshack ftw!
im still awestruck by that monster. i remember when you had a X2... and its gone within a year.
one more question though; since you are a loyal moderator of hardwarehell, do you get hardware sponsored alot? or anything?

Thx for the offer Slaymate! But NXS and I came to agreement, Nice guy as he is he didn't even insist on any rewards, but I convinced him to take at least 10bucks "for some beer" :P
O and I checked the case mod. Seems like a nice start, but I have to say that I‘m more into shiny metal than wood.. :francesco:
I might pop in to Hardwarehell after I get my rig build ;) so I have something to brag about.

So HD, is it really that more cheap to buy stuff from newegg? im looking to upgrade my pc again sometime later this year if i have a job and such. i knew newegg offers some sick prices, but if 10dollars for extra beer (i bet the convincing part didn't take that long, eh monks ) still makes you come out alot cheaper, then i feel tempted to do the same, if anyone's nice enough around here. but thats just when i have the money. judging from you offering the monks beer, i presume monks himself will stick around some longer in search for more ;)

Yes it is! :P But for me the biggest reason is the fact that newest components take ages to arrive here and some of them never do!
Here are a few price variations between newegg and cheapest online stores on my location.
Newegg.com Elektroni.fi
OCZ FlexXLC Edition 2GB: 498.99 USD 775.189 USD
Pixmania.com/fi
ENERMAX GALAXY EGA1000EWL: 379.99 USD 512.457 USD
And then there was the “nice” distributor from Denmark selling 8800GTX watercooled models for 919USD.. and after Christmas they wanted 100 bucks more! And its selling 799 on newegg!

Only thing that might make your total price go up is the shipment costs.. In this case I'm to pay estimated 250 USD for insuranced UPS shipment.
Mostly because of the huge weight my orders end up generating. :dennis:

What's up Strider. I knew I'd see a familiar face around
here sooner of later :-) The Core 2 Duo is freakin awesome.
It just blows the 4800 X2 out of the water. It's a whole
new ball game. You know I'll take care of you if you need
something from NewEgg. As for getting free part's. I've
been getting a few heatsinks and some water blocks to
test and review. Hopefully I'll start getting the really Good
stuff and I can quit spending so much cash :-)

Slay, the Opteron sounds nice but the MB's for those things are EXPENSIVE. And as I am a poor boy living on Social Security Disability, Those kinds of things come at distant intervals. I have been tryint to get some part-time at-home work through the Ticket-to-Work program but it requires me to spend money I don't have to get that work. So, having extra money looks bad for me. I just have to dream I guess.

i visited newegg some time ago, and i recall seeing 5 different kinds of ATI 1600XT's... kinda is overkill to me on what to choose.
and well, i always envied cow for buying such cheap hardware...
@ HD
That is amazing! im already checking to see how much difference my desired parts will be.
---Edit----
E6300 Dual Core: 160 euros > 170 euros
E6600 Dual Core: 244 euros > 300 euros
E6700 Dual Core: 400 euros > 500 euros
CORSAIR XMS2 1GB (2 x 512MB): 95 euros > 125 euros
8800GTX: 420 euros > 540 euros ( great, since my old 6800GT costed me 410 euros 3> )
EVGA 680 Mobo: 200 euros > 260 euros
first: newegg -second: local (quite cheap) internetretailer
im not that blown away by the difference. however, im definately going to buy a 8800gtx i think.
ill see later this year, maybe prizes'll drop.
and slay, nice overclock.

Well the prices are getting cheaper all the time. Although
this mobo isn't my 1st choice, at $75.00 with S/H it sounds
like a good budget mobo to me. And that Opteron will
slide right in it :-)
