My case has a mesh thing on the side for a huge ass fan, might have to get one once I upgrade my card or SLI it

Why wait. A big fan will cool your whole system now. The cooler environment will increase your system's efficiency now, giving you a mild performance boost (it may not be noticible unless you overclock). The worst thing would be a slightly Longer Life Span for all of your Equipment :-)
