What are the rest of your system specifications? A KT400 chipset suggest's a
Athlon XP or Duron. I'm sure it will be a big improvement over whatever
card you have now. But your cpu will probably keep the card from reaching it's
full potential :-)

It will run. But with 350W PSU your system ends up crashing! a lot!.. I had that problem with 360W once, with N6800 upgraded to 550Watts and it never crashed again

I [u]would[U/] recommend the GainWard 7800GT 512mb ddr3 AGP,... beast card for AGP :P but slay explains the problem
350 watts is not enough by far, your supply will run hot and not be able to feed all your parts enough causing crashes and lag,hickups...
At least get a 450 or a 550Watts.
Coolermaster RealPower 550[SLI] is what i have and its really good price/performance wise and future proof for my dream SLI setup ^^
Just read reviews before u buy anything and u will be sure u aint buying crap ;)

I'd recommend a Geforce 7600gt, the 7800gs would just bottleneck. If you get the 7600gt, you won't have to buy a new PSU either.

I'd recommend this card HERE, its cheap and will be quite a big step up from a Radeon 9700. I really think that a 7800gs would be overkill, as well as bottlenecking your system.

I think i will be buying a 7800gs too for the pc when i have a new one, so the old one can still be used by my little brother.
Else he ends up going to my pc all the day!

I'd definitely suggest anything from the 6800 GS and up, but only if you can find one at a decent price (at the time when I was looking at them, they were practically the same price as a 7800 GT for PCI-E! But then I luckily won one in a contest ). Otherwise you may just want to save money to get a PCI-Express system since AGP is at the end of the line.

what about this card -256MB Club 3D GeForce 7800GS its a liitle bit cheaper then the 256MB XFX GeForce 7800GS XT, plus i dont think i need to change my psu with the 256MB Club 3D GeForce 7800GS,how much better thought is the
256MB Club 3D GeForce 7800GS compared to the card i have now got the 9700 pro Radeon for
performance. thanks chaps.
