actually now with 400Gig HDD for ca. 100€ and Gigs Ram packs (well RAm tends to go up and down with their prices) and CPU like c2d you can builöd a very decent PC for under 1k. if you are not to eager for getting the lattest graphic and what not then you can surly get one for around 800€. basicly a 800€ is better than my 1600€ PC i bought 3 years ago...
I ordered the AGP X1950 512 from HIS. lets see how it runs. the price was good too 230€ ![]()

Don't waste your time with ATI! grab a Geforce 7950 GT oc (BFG) version, it owns! thats what i just got, and I'm completly satisfied, runs latest games with ezz, battlefield 2 full details, high res, full AA the works, runs like butter. Rainbow six Vegas, everything full(shadows, blur effects, HDR) runs like someone smeered butter on my monitor
I paid 300 bucks for this card and it's worth every pennie, don't worry bout DX10 card yet, half those DX10 games will run great in DX9 mode anyway, lets wait and see how glitchy windows vista is first!

lick-Ma-balls should read-All-posts
It's about a AGP card and the 1950 is the ruler in that sector. Actually ATI also rules the singlecore dx9 market with the pci-e 1950 xtx and rules that sector badly. Anyway, paying 300 for that card sure isn't a bad deal and I am sure you'l have tons of fun with it, I remember seeing bf2 with my new 1900xt (I have 2 now) at full and I especcially loved the shadows of the helicopters as they slowly flew above you ![]()
