Well we don't know anything about your laptop to give you a definite answer.
And I don't really know anything about laptops to really help. I would check out ebay and some other auction sites and look for a simular model. You should be able to just replace the screen if your lucky. I would also ask around at some other hardware related forums. Maybe Hardware.Gamershell.com or PCApex.com :-)

Who is the manufacturer, what is the specification/model number?
You should be able to get some spares from auction sites or resellers and if you are lucky you could make a working unit out of it. bare in mind though that the screen and the mainboard are the most costly items in a notebook, so if the spares unit is real cheap then its likely that something is wrong with either of these major components. Does the notebook you dropped work at all?

yeah it works fine and everything i used another monitor to transfer some data onto cds that i needed from laptop but other then that i dont wanan use it to much.
the brand is acer and its a 3050 series and i am jsut gonna end up holding onto it for now since i looked into custom building a desktop and it comes to a couple hundred less then what it would cost to fix my laptop screen. |
