I saw a Trimersion VR Game at E3-06 and it looked pretty cool but they weren't available yet. They recently went on sale at the website and I was able to get one and give it a try. "Wow! What a crazy way to play games". The add dosn't do it justice. But the Trimersion Babes are pretty hot. I tried a bunch of games with it. If you like FPS games check this out, the effect is intense.

What!! Can't handle a little eye cancer? Have you ever noticed that getting cancer is the first reaction of people who are afraid of technology?
As you look around you see more information on 3D Medical Diagnostics, Virtual Reality Marketing Systems and Virtual Tours and personal multimedia systems. Not to mention what the government projects are doing. The "Science of Simulation" for lack of a better term has advanced by leaps and bounds. This includes the devices used in HDTVs, computer systems, display technology, video games and general consumer electronics. But on the back burner, VR has been kept in mind. Even though we all realize that true Virtual Reality can never be achieved. The advances tin the field of simulator technology have flourished. There has also been major head way in the devices we use to control the technology. This dedication shows in the emergance of new products dedicated to entertainment and milti-media presentation. But as you might have noticed there is a lot going on lately in the way of VR as it applies in the way of marketing, personal entertainment systems and medical research. Video Gaming has not been left out when it comes to this technology. And in the natural progression of things it is the next logical step. Game designers and programmers spend billions in resources and time to create more realistic scenes and situiatons for the game industry. Why wouldn't Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Displays and VR game controllers be included? I think that there is a place in VR Gaming that the average player can be a part of. What Do you think? |

From your reaction I'm wondering if you work for this company or what.
Send me a Free one. I can get you a review posted at a number of sites, not just forum posts. You could post some screen shots of a few games if it so beyond the imagination.

I might have a little inside info.
Besides you have to razz em a little to get the conversation going. Virtual Reality Games have really fallen off the map. But the new games coming out are better than ever. I work for an engineering company that does Near Eye Displays and VR Research. We have beta tested early units. And our guys have also recieved first production units. I'm not that good at FPS games so Trimersion has helped my game. And the graphics of the new games look really good. But that is a judgement everyone will have to make for themselves. This type of game system has been a long time coming. and I play mine alot. I have been testing demos lately I will send some screen shots next post. |
