The xps is just a name, you can get a dell inspiron with the same hardware and save yourself a few hundred. I game on an inspiron 1520 with a Nvidia 8600 (i believe), it has 256mb of ram. It runs great and rightn ow costs about 1800 with a couple of upgrades.
Watch that payment plan thing though man 29.9% interest will kill you. |

Stay clear from Dell if you can, because their build quality has nose-dived over the last 6 months.
Alienware Area51s are nice, but they are huge, heavy and run extremely hot. They are also very expensive and you can better deals elsewhere.
