Looking for suggestions or advice. Trying to keep it around this price.

Ok changing a few things. Going with Intel Quad Core instead of AMD--now here's my question: Would it be better to SLi 2 8800GTS together or just run 1 single 8800GTX (THe dual GTS are way more expensive so im leaning against them)

Where do you live? Europe? If not you need to shop at NewEgg. The total looks pretty high for what
your buying. What kind of hard drives are those? Raptor's. I would skip them and just run (2) regular
drives in raid. I would go with the 8800GTX but I would suggest a higher wattage power supply. When
the next gen video cards are reeased a 2nd 8800GTX may be an option. If it's not then I would go with
a Intel P35 chipset mobo. What heatsink are you using, or buying?

I live in the US but I didn't mean I was actually "building" the PC myself, just ordering a new one, so I don't really want to order a bunch of parts and try to put it together to save a couple bucks. For whatever reason it's not included on that list, I upgraded to a 700W power supply. I'm not too sure about the heatsink really..

Feel free to check out the site I built it on, CyberpowerPC and show me some specs or suggest a site of your own.

1x 8800GTX is a safe bet at the moment, but I wouldn't necessarily rule out a Radeon x2900. What native resolution will you be playing at? Don't spend too much on a PSU. 700W for a C2D/8800GTX setup is overkill and will increase your carbon footprint and electricity bills unnecessarily.

Will be running at 1680x1050. Yeah I overestimated how much wattage I would need. I'll be going with a 535 or 600W PSU. I'm pretty confident that I'm staying with the 8800GTX though, so that probably won't change.

So, I take it that these people don't build PC's with the proprietary motherboards and such that make it worthless? And, are you getting a FULL version of Windblows or an OEM version? If it was me, I would ask for a full version.

OEM versions of Microsoft Operating Systems offer the same functionality as retail versions, however licensing is linked to the computer and not the individual. The savings are well worth it IMHO.

My specs are really the same actually

I use a P5N-E SLI, 8800GTX, Corsair TwinX 6400, everything running mighty fine at 1680x1050.
I recommend you should take around 600~ Watt for a PSU. ( I use a Zalman 600W PSU).

By the way, is it me or is that site a bit expensive, for around that cost i got a better psu, and a 22" screen with it.
