Where do you live? Europe? If not you need to shop at NewEgg. The total looks pretty high for what
your buying. What kind of hard drives are those? Raptor's. I would skip them and just run (2) regular drives in raid. I would go with the 8800GTX but I would suggest a higher wattage power supply. When the next gen video cards are reeased a 2nd 8800GTX may be an option. If it's not then I would go with a Intel P35 chipset mobo. What heatsink are you using, or buying?

1x 8800GTX is a safe bet at the moment, but I wouldn't necessarily rule out a Radeon x2900. What native resolution will you be playing at? Don't spend too much on a PSU. 700W for a C2D/8800GTX setup is overkill and will increase your carbon footprint and electricity bills unnecessarily.

So, I take it that these people don't build PC's with the proprietary motherboards and such that make it worthless? And, are you getting a FULL version of Windblows or an OEM version? If it was me, I would ask for a full version.

OEM versions of Microsoft Operating Systems offer the same functionality as retail versions, however licensing is linked to the computer and not the individual. The savings are well worth it IMHO.

My specs are really the same actually
I use a P5N-E SLI, 8800GTX, Corsair TwinX 6400, everything running mighty fine at 1680x1050. I recommend you should take around 600~ Watt for a PSU. ( I use a Zalman 600W PSU). By the way, is it me or is that site a bit expensive, for around that cost i got a better psu, and a 22" screen with it. ![]()
