Well, the PC market is always rapidly changing but this one can hop along nicely. Nothing top bill and the state of the art, but you must have figured that out yourself. Just slap another gb of ram into your pc if you are not thinking of changing too much and get all the latest drivers and you should be good.
The 8800 GT has been released a few days back for around 200 dollars or 250 euros, might be worth getting.

Dump the Corsair PC 5400 ddr2 and get PC 6400 as a minimum. And I'm with Gazz.
Dump the ATI X1950XTX and get a 8800GT instead. And that 975 mobo is a little dated also. This board is in the same price range. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813136038 And you don't need the gigabit network adapter. The mobo you have listed, as well as the mobo I listed both come with Gigabit built-in. The E6700 cpu is a good cpu but I think you'll be better off getting a Q6600 instead, same basic price. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16819115017 But I wouldn't say it was outdated, maybe in need of a few improvements

i have to say your system is nice and should play any game out there at decent frame rates.
But yea like the guys said the 1950 (while light years ahead of my card) is a little dated and if you have the cash the 8800 rocks and always the more ram the better! however if you don't have the money to spend on upgrades right now i wouldn't give it a second thought if i were you.
