is this pc system anygood?

hi guys this is my first post here, so be gentle with me. lol.
just wanted some feedback on this budget system i built and whether its anygood really.

psu: 650w stealth extreme
cpu: 2.2 duel core (basic i think) but overclocked to 2.5
h/d 300g/b
ram: 2ghz ddr2
video card: 512mb geforce 9600gt
motherboard: pretty basic board cant remeber what exaclty but i know its duel agp,pciexpress and will take 2gbram and up to a quad core pcu.
case: just a bog standard budget case

hopefully this isnt a laughable system it did only cost about £400 about 2 months ago though.
honest opinions would be appreciated and any advise you may have to make it faster cheers guys.

No, it isn't a laughable PC at all. Only thing you might want to think about if you are running Vista is sticking in a third gb of ram. Other then that, your pc should be able to run most games on high with all bells turned on.

well im not running vista at the moment as im happy with the way i have xp set up, also i cant add more ram as the m/b will only take 2 sticks of ram and i think im right in saying you can only get ddr2 in 1gb sticks?

No, they come in all sorts of varieties. 2 gb is the most common these days since Ram on DDR2 is being mass produced extremely cheaply these days.

ok i didnt realise that it must be time for an upgrade then. i will probably double up to 2x2gb sticks i should notice the diferance with taht.
