Default Overclocking topic!

Since there is none yet!

Post your overclocking results, your tips, your questions etc. here!

Post will be updated with cooling solutions, results etc!

TOOLS

Coretemp
Great program to watch your processor temperatures, detects more accurate than other programs by using the Diode in your processor instead of your motherboard monitor

CPU-Z
This program shows you alot of information about your processor, memory and mobo. Think about steppings, revisions, multiplier, fsb!

Orthos
Great tool to stresstest your computer!

PRIME95
Great tool to stresstest your CPU and RAM, this is to check if your overclock is stable!

I'm a little busy at the moment but I'll be adding more to this thread :-)

Right now I say that I prefer using Orthos over Prime 95.

Yeah I'll probably add some stuff here at some point. I have a waterchiller project in progress, but I still need some stuff before I can start putting it together...

If you're going to make tutorials of any sorts, please make a new topic for that and link it here, this to make sure you don't scroll too much!

Also can someone give me a list of good coolers?

Good ones i'm thinking of right now is the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme and the Coolermaster GeminII

Can't go wrong with big thermalright coolers. Scythe makes some nice ones too, especially when you want an especially silent system.
