Anyway, the new Catalyst 8.8 drivers are fine Mazling & Magus. And the temperature "complaints" are exagerated as it seems, my HD 4850 (with reference design) barely hits 80 in my case. Though that can be influenced positively by the airflow of my case (CM Centurion 5) and the fact that my resolution stays 1280x1024 at max (because of my monitor).

If u ask about ATI, then u will definately see die-shrink of their gfx chips around the year end.

It's not as much as the drivers are good, it's just that their damn gui is a pain in the ass, hell whole catalyst is a pain in the ass, and i've worked more with ati's than i ever did with nvidia's.
