first build

my girl love the sims she has all of them so i went out and pre orderd the sims 3 collectors edition come to find out it wont work on her dell dimension 4600c so i want to build her 1 that i can put the sims the sims2 all the expansion packs and the sims3 and the expansion packs to come and i dont know where to start

Erm, if you put your whole message in but one message, without any punctuation, then you're a bit hard to understand.

Anyway, it seems you want a the Sims III compatible pc. But you also say you wish to build you're own pc, but that you don't have the knowledge for it. I could give an advice on what hardware to buy and give you a guide on how to assemble the parts. However, I don't know what your computer knowledge level is, so it would be handy if you could told tell us what of experience with computer hardware you already have.

the only experince have is i replaced a power suply once. the thing is i want a Intel Core i7 920/COOLER MASTER HAF 922/ASUS P6T Deluxe V2.
but i think that would be over kill for what i want.im trying to go cheep as i can for my first build. like i said it will only be used to play the sims 1 2and 3
