OMG the Radeon sucks eggs!

I installed it, updated the drivers, loaded up Photoshop and within 2 minutes I had gone back to the 2MX... Sure the picture quality was lovely, but in terms of 2D GUI performance, I think my old EISA Trident VGA 256k card would perform better!

Radeon 7000's are poo!

well sorry bro, but i think your work should realize you need new hardware to work with! not 4 yr. old crap......
and if your having trouble running photoshop with an ati 7000 card, maybe you should look into upgraded your cpu and memory too.....hmmmmm :bucky!: i used to own a 7000 card and was running 3d games no problem, photoshop doesn't exactly have hardcore system requirements does it?.....please...i don't think you know what your doing, thats the problem!

Ha ha ha! Don't know what I'm doing! Shut up BIOS b4 you really upset someone who has supported you in official forum meetings recently! You have already upset many admins and mods on these forums and you could well do without getting on my tits... trust me!

For your information, my work PC is made out of 2nd user parts and I cannot request new components, because in truth I dont need them for my job. I only use Photoshop in my free time, either at lunch breaks or after work.

Also, I am an extremely exprienced PC builder and now how to get the best out of any system, be it a legacy bit of kit or the latest 64-bit workstations/servers.

So, please, do me a favour and think before you type. I mean you no malice m8... not at all... quite the opposite in fact..
