Personally i think its a Piece of teahat.... you'd be better off with a ATi Radeon 9800PRO, or maybe one of the ATi Radeon x800 series... heres a link to a place where you can get what ya www.newegg.com or you can visit www.pricewatch.com if money is a problem... Enjoy

I second that. The performance of the FX5200 is VERY low and not acceptable at all for a directx9 card.
You're better off with an ATI 9600 XT or better.
Don't buy it as you will regret it for sure.

Well I already bought it and the games seem to run great. What makes the Radeon or ATI so much better?

Did you buy it just to get you by because it's cheap? I have a 5200 and it runs HL2 and Doom 3 pretty well; playable fps. HL2 I got just today and it ran better than I'd imagined on it. I was amazed how well, and with everything set on high albeit at 800x600, but still... looks sweet. Really, those of you that buy gfx cards at such a high price really need to kick yourselves a boot in the balls, because you're all being conned! I'm upgrading to a 6600 soon anyway. That'll do me fine!

Anyway, if I bought HL2 retail, does that mean I can dl DoD:S when it's available off Steam? Or do I have to pay for that?! I sandpapering hope not, because to be honest that whole Steam deal is a sandpapering disgrace. Valve deserve to be hacked again for that joke. I mean, you have to actually have Steam and an internet connection to play HL2?! What the sandpaper?! Then it takes a half-hour for you to be able to play the thing. If that's the way they want to play it, then may the hackers rip them off for millions. Bastards! Top game anyway
