radeon x800 xt pe or geforce 6800 ultra?

:thumbup: If i were u i go for a 6800 gt as they overclock pretty well i can get mine to 420/1120
no problem and u will save aleast £100 so u will need a better psu but with the gt
the 1 u got will be fine so thats another 70 to 80 quid saved.

:P but if u really want a ultra i recommend XFX 6800 ULTRA 256MB as they run much better than standerd 1s 430/1200 and they state that it will go up to 450/1200 aleast.
mines the xfx 6800 gt and got no prob but iv had ati cards as well in the past
my last card was a 9800 pro so im no ati or nvidia fan really i go for whats best on the market.

save the cash and maybe get a faster pro u will need it if u want a ultra or u will not get that much of a performace boost other wise. up to u.

Yeah, i have an XFX 6800U and i am running mine at 445/1225, with no problems at all. I expect that i could push it further but i don't need to :thumbup:

the X800 will run with max AA and AF better so you can have more of your settings cranked up higher the X800 will also use less power when overclocking :thumbup: and it will run cooler

Well after much research I think ill buy the radeon x800 xt pe and then overclock it with a new fan. Cant wait to see the performance difference once I get it.

ok mate up to u but with a decent rig u get better overclocking performance and standerd
performance witha geforce 6800 gt or ultra than a x800 or x800xt pe i could have got 1 of
www.komplett.co.uk on here sapphire x800xt pe are 330 retail not a bad price
but on www.overclockers.co.uk u can get a xfx 6800 card for 300 and will run better than most games and at high res u dont need any card effects on so u get better performance any way.

and 512 drr corsair pc3200 ram
xfx geforce 6800 gt @416/1120
i get (aquamark 03) 68-676
i get (3dmark 03) 12400 could be better iv tweked my pc since and only tried it with aquamark 03
so these score ant bad and better than most higher spec pcs like fxs and so on u need a good rig to get good performance so just a graphics will be no good need a good pro too.

X800's own!! :thumbup: actually you could say ATI owns all together!.....

ATi gives you Rubi...NVidea gives you a circle that say the way it meant to be played...i go with Rubi.

Well shall be going for the x800 anyway, also this 3dc intrigues me and will be very useful to have when games support it.
