Hi all, I ll be recieving my new thermaltake case soon and was wondering if anyone knows the front usb, power and reset pin layout on a dell dimension 4600 motherboard. Im asking because I will have to setup all the pin connectors myself and am told that pin connectors are different on each brand of motherboard. If you arent sure do you now a website where I could find out?
Thanks.

The layout is printed (very tiny) next to the pins, most of the time

I checked that, but its not. I guess Dell didnt think that many people would be upgrading and swapping cases and so forth. The layout of the whole thing is abit weird. The power and reset connectors are on the right side of the motherboard and the usb pins are at the bottom. On my old pc which had an asus motherboard the pins where all in one place in a straight strip where there were something like 10-12 pins, but not with this dell motherboard, they are all split up.

its useless to "ask" how to do it. You have to look at the manual for the MOBO. No one can walk you throught that ,it would take forever to get on the same page about what pins you are talking about

Well thanks for your help anyway guys, it doesnt matter now. As I was putting in the motherboard I accidently snapped off one of the ram slots and needed to buy a new one so I bought an asus motherbaord. Its far better than that cheap Dell teahat and it allows me to moniter my cpu temps. So I am one happy bunny

Ah crap, I can't beat that with my MSI K7N2 Delta-L, Athlon XP 2600+ and a Radeon 9600 PRO...
Oh well, it still runs most of the games at full detail, except for DooM 3 and HL2...
