hey, what do people think of this new "audigy 2 value" sound card? because I can buy it for about $80(can). I heard it was about the same as the normal audigy 2 zs but without the firewire connections and what not(which I don't need). If anybody has some solid info on this sound adapter that would be great!...thanks

thanks dude, but do you think its a good card to get? I mean the normal audigy 2 is proly no better right, except for the fact that it has firewire and some other connections you can use. I just want games to sound good and I usually use head phones too....if I go for the "value" edtion I can save like $30-40 too. What do you think??

I've seen a few times the zs bulk for around 60-70$ (local currency)
You might look if you can get it for around that

Audigy 4 is out for 250, it's basicly a Audigy 2 with some bug fixes.
Audigy 2 cost here in germany now about 40 €, ca. 55$ or you are really cheap and buy a Audigy card(about 10€) and put a Audigy 2 driver on. It does the job. ![]()
