Name your current mainboard and ram-speed.

If you don't know it, install this (free) and look through.

If you have anything other than PC3200 ram (slower) means, you have to overclock the ram-bus in your BIOS. That's the only way.

Your Ram are at 200mhz DDR which means the effective clock IS 400mhz. Don't worry.
Nothing wrong with your RAM.

Your Ram IS! at 400 mhz.
Do the calculate:
200 MHZ DDR (DOUBLE Data Ram) = 400 MHZ effective clock (hence the double)

ddr basically means it operates at 2x the clock speed of the CPU bus. if you have a 200mhz front side bus (the bus from your CPU to your ram) than at double the rate your memory is effectively 400mhz and is running at optimal speed for pc3200 ram.

for now on when you see your bus speed always double it. even in video cards.
