Nvidia has introduced Turbo Cache Technology for the Geforce 6200. This cool bit of engineering allows graphics chips to render to system memory, rather than using memory on the graphics card.
Nvidia reckon that this will allow people that can' t afford the Top End cards to get better performance for their money. It is all done using the Bi-Directional bandwidth that PCI-E offers. The 6200 cards suporting TC will run DX9 Shader model 3.0, use Purevideo tech from Nvidia, and use the Forceware software suite. These will be around in shops from the end of the month :thumbup: |

That's nothing new, they just gave it a new name and voila.
Something like that was already a part of agpx1, but agp bandwidth was quickly not enough. And now with that problem gone thanks to pci-x they can use it in their low end cards, but still it wouldn't work with better hardware so it's prolly the last time we see it.

i dunno, i think its all in the name like kacperski already said... name it Ultra MEGA Super DUper Ownage, just to get the sales.
although it does look promising :P
