Ok here's the deal, i spent about 4 hours of my day, traveling by train bus or whatever. So I decided I want a notebook. The problem is, i know jackteahat bout 'em. I want to use it most of the time for programming, webdesign, and play a game so now and then. The battery should last for like minimum 3 hours.
First question: What processor do i need? A centrino? Is a pentium M same as a Centrino? Second: The videocard, I was thinking about a Radeon 9700...? Third: Further hints about what brand i should choose (acer, asus, toshiba, etc), other suggestions and experiences Hope there's some notebook wizard around that can help me ps: my budget is about 1200-1600 Euro's.

I have a Dell Laptop (1.4ghz centrino, 786mbram, 9600pro) and use it every day. I'm really happy with it
and bought it for about 1400 Euro back in may. Now you get better deals for the same price. I'd definately check out Dell although some people don't like Dell, they never let me down.
