Go for the MX 510. If you are a real gamer _DONT_ go for cordless. That sucks ass!!

Actually.. it used to "suck ass", but not anymore since the latest generation.
Logitechs MX1000 Laser comes to mind. I own it and I had no problems with it at all.
Testet with CS:S, HL2, Splinter Cell, you name it. It's a good mouse and I'm glad it's not corderd anymore.
I had a MX510 before which is now on my laptop. Very good mouse too but it didn't fit as good in my hand
as the MX1000 does. It's a bit expensive though.

Sooo true forget about cordless absolute pap for gaming even if they are making advances nothing beats a good old fashioned tail on your mouse :eyebrow:

I've had a logitech mx510 for a couple of month now and its served me well on cod mp so go with that

As for these GAMING keyboards i reckon the majority are gimmicks and again in my view nothing beats the old fashioned layout.

Not that im old fashioned or anything :bucky:

[EDIT] Akherousin does the mx1000 perform well in fast paced mp games like cod,hl2 ect?

I don't like cordless mice either, not because of the actual protocol, but because of the damn weight!

Go for the Razor, it's 1600dpi just rule, i'm going to get one real soon! the mx510 is a very good and beautiful mouse, but it's 800dpi (or less i don't really remember).

Yes. The Fast RF™ cordless performance equally to a USB corded connection.

Nice!

Grayfox your correct in saying the mx510 is 800dpi which in it self took me a while to get used to from my old school ms optical mouse.

As for the razor 1600dpi WOW!

I read a review of this in pc zone uk and even the reviewer stated it was a tad to fast for his clumsey hands which kinda reflects me.

Although i guess its horses for courses at the end of the day.

i have the mx510, and it works great, perfect for gaming. i don't like the handshape though, you really need to get used to it if your using a normal mouse now. with the software dilivered with it you can adjust alotta stuff you practicly don't need to, but it can come in handy for us gamers.

oh forgot to say, the mouse has alotta buttons, so a quick reload and a fast weaponswitch are of order ;)
