Hey guys...I'm sitting here...bored...and was wondering how easy my grpahics card would be to update?
Here are the basic Systems Specs : INTEL PENTIUM 4 HT Processor 550 3.4 Ghz 1024 DDR Memory 400 Gb Hard Disk My grapics card is an "ATI Radeon X600 Pro 256MB Memory PCI-Express...." It's a newish system... I know the graphics card is'nt the best available, but i'm currently very happy with it! :thumbup: Would a update to an Nvidia 6800 Ultra...or ATI Radeon X850 Pro be simple?? Would my system easily adapt to them?  Many Thanks, HallifaX

your system is top notch, i would rather say give me the card your replacing... or even say not upgrade at all, cuz its friggin the best... anyway, if you DO wanna upgrade, i'd go with a 850XT cuz its later released and thus better than the Ultra. i suppose.

I agree, your Rig is pretty good as is for now. I would wait for some decent price drops then decide on a card.
on the adapting issue as you called it, there should be no problem at all there with your PCI-X. just uninstall drviers,turn off pc, plug the card in, turn on pc,install new drivers, restart and there you go.

Yes! :Oo: I'm a n00b to this "PC Thing".
 It took me 5 long years to save up for teh ststem though! :thumbup:
