Altought i'm against cordless mouses I bought an MX 1000 today. And i'm really satisfied with it! Havn't had any problem at all with it yet. Just plugged it in and it worked The reaction time is so sandpapering fast! And it lies good in my hand and all I recommend it high!!

Hey Hasse, i have it too! it rocks that's the least to say. but you'll find it a bit heavy while playing, it takes a bit to get accustomed, but nothing bad. you'll find the wheel very cool i guess, as every body likes it.. nice to write a topic for it since people who are lookin' for it will find our impressions!!

we aaren't talking about technical performances whereas the other topic was, i gess we don't need to refer to it no more. we are talking about two different aspects of the mouse.

Sure it is a good mouse only it is way lame for games.
The MX 1000 is not a good game mouse.
Mine has sat at the back of my desk for about 4 months now.
I'd use it for other things only I haven't taken the time to figure out how to keep both mouse drivers installed so that I can just switch over by pluging in the other mouse.

I don't agree. I havn't had any problem with it when I played and I am a pretty serious gamer.

What does that even mean? We already know your opinion of this mouse and I gave my opinion. Is the fact that you say “I am a pretty serious gamer” supposed to invalidate my opinion or suggest that I am not a dedicated gamer? Many people have tried this mouse and have not been satisfied. Hell I like my MX 510 even though it is flimsy and my 1st one crapped out on me in 3 weeks time.

Sorry to rain on your parade dude only this is not the 1st forum I’ve posted my opinion on the MX 1000 where some love this rodent and it just may not be the last. I think folks should know that they may find issues and not be as happy as others with certain products. It is not like I do not own a MX 1000 and haven’t given it a more than fair chance. I even have a folder I update with new info on this mouse to see if improvements have been or can be made.

Maybe I have higher expectations. So for now it is my MX 510, steel cord holder, and 2nd edition black Icemat that I use.

Here is a treat for you I never got around to posting on the other GH MX 1000 thread.
Guide: How to use all 8 buttons + tilt on MX1000 in UT2004
Give it a read I haven't tried this and it may work in general not just UT2004.

I’m aware of the digs I put in my last post and if you are unaware of
how your post came across to me then I cannot explain it.
I admit I feel strongly about giving fair warning about the MX 1000.
And that I felt my opinion was being invalidated by you.
Only I’m not the one using caps and swears.
It isn’t that I am/was angry, it is reading your post
gave me a bad taste and I responded so.

I have no hard feelings. I took your post in a negative way and need no
apologies. And what you wrote does not feel like an apology in the least
anyway. Lets just let it go.
And once again read that link I gave-you may find some value in it.
