Hi I hope some can help

I recently bought a 9700 Pro from a friend to replace my ageing Ge-force 5600 card. After installing the new Radeon card while playing games i.e. CM Rally 2005 Windows XP locks up and ATI VPU recover kicks in and resets the graphics card. On rare occasion I also get the error The driver for the display device \Device\Video0 got stuck in an infinite loop.
'STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER'

However I dont get this when running my Nvidia Card???

Machine Specs as follows

P4 HT 3GHz Processor
MSI 865PE Neo2-P
1 GB Knigston DDR 400 Ram (Running in Dual Mode)
500W PSU

I also have latest Cat, Chipset Drivers, Bios and Direct X 9.0c, Windows XP Service Pack 2 installed
