You will probably notice fps boost from about 1-4%. And yes, that's no big boost.
Anyways, I have overclocked my 9800pro to the 9800xt level (about 9% in both ramclock and gpu clock).

i think that means it didn't break. anyway, i used to overclock my 9800pro until i installed Catalyst 5.4, and i dont think the overclock tray tool is compatible with that driver, plus i havent goten around to reinstalling the tool anyway. I had alot of problems in games, especialy half life 2, invloving weird colors on directX9 lighting reflections. Since i stopped overclocking i'm problem free, and games run just the same, (i think)

Heres the link for ATITool's website: http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/
and heres the link to download it http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/ATITool_0.0.23.exe To make sure you are overclocking safely find the max core and max memory, then set your overclock to something in between your stock settings and the max clockspeed so you won't see any artifacting.
