PCI-E implementation would halve you channel bandwidth. I'm still unsure what they mean by 'add-in card' they haven't given enough information for any logical conclusion. Pci-x is very scalable, even a 4x port is enough for now (c'mon you didn't believe it is really going to be all that powerfull all of a sudden). If it proves itself I really don't see a problem with mobos being given an extra 16x port for a physics unit, instead of that "SLI joke"
