i think ATi X850 XT has better shadow processing technique than nVIDIA 6800 ultra for the 64 bit processor. it can clearly process the soft shadow better than nvidia. by the way check this out http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NzY3LDU=

well I think the choice is obvious, get the x850 xt. But try to get the HIS, because they have modded cooling on there cards, which is a good thing if you get the x850xt because they run very hot. good thing is you van get rid of you heating in your house :P
