The X800 XL, thus having more Pixel pipelines over the X850 Pro.
Notice that the X800 XL is an x16 (PCI Express) interface, and the X850 Pro is AGPx8. Therefore, if you are asking because you want to buy one of them, make sure you have either AGP slot or PCI-Express slot on your motherboard. (However i might be wrong ;) ) P.S. X850 XT PE / XT kicks both of their donkey tails goodbye ![]()

I do plan to buy one of these cards soon. I wanted help deciding, because, the XL has more pipelines, but the x850pro has a lot high clock speeds, and costs a lil more so i thought maybe it was better?

The XL is 512 mb optional ;) ...but 512mb is not something you really need according to benchmarks that I've seen. <!--QuoteBegin--Genocide.Cyborg@ Posted on May 13 2005, 04:54 PM but the x850pro has a lot high clock speeds, and costs a lil more so i thought maybe it was better? [/quote] Unlike pipelines and other features that you cannot change, clock speeds are easy to manipulate to higher one's, known as Over Clocking, it will affect the fill rate and the memory Bandwidth.
