This is my next build, tell me what you think, suggestions are welcome.
Processor: AMD 64 3500+ Socket 939 2000Mhz FSB Add-on Cards: PhysX PPU Running on x4 PCI-E GFX Cards: 2 BFG 6800 GT 256MB PCI-E each running in SLi x8 Motherboard: DFI Lanparty NF4 w/ 22 PCI lanes RAM: 2GB Kingston DDR PC3200 (512x4) HDD: 2 Seagate 160GB SATA-150 RAID0 Array ( Apps/High performance stuff ) 1 Seagate 20GB PATA-133 ( OS ) FDD: some cheap floppy drive Optiacal Storage: Lite-on DVD-ROM Lite-on DVD-RW+/- x16x8x16 DLx4 PSU: Ultra 500Watt dual 80mm fan SATA ready OS: Windows XP pro 64 Ed. |

your PSU is gona blow up ;) i Reccomend the Antec 550 PSU its got great reviews... and id wait till the 512mb gaming cards come out... and i still think PCI SLI mode is a bit iffy at this time... needs more time to develope... maybe a few more years.. other than that its a A+ System :thumbup:

I wasn't to sure on that that wattage but I figure on paper it would spare about 50 watts. i think i'll go with a antec 600watt, better to be safe then sorry.
the only problem i realy see with dual SLi is the "game profiles" you need for the game to take advantage of the technology. other then that i think its solid. its alot better then alienwares dual GFX card setup. |
