Choc, a crossover cable is just like an ethernet cable that connects into the LAN port on your PC.
Go to your local computer supply store and ask for a crossover cable

i dont know if your dail up or what not so heres a diagram:
CLICKY! ![]() if you dail up you need a crossover cable, which is not a regular ethernet cable, will state crossover on the package. sharing the net through a daisy chain pc is a bit tricky with dial up but i dont know what you have yet. If you have CABLE or DSL get a cheap rounter around $30 and 3 RJ45 ethernet cables in there respective needed lenghts and follow the diagram. |

Ppl!! he said round cable!
First, those things are OLD Second, you need a terminator on a T shaped connector on each end of the wire Third. 2 cheap ethernet cards (RJ45 connector-the rectangular one), and a few meters of crossover cable shouldn't cost more than 30$. If you have winxp it's mindless work for 30 min (10 if you're a pro ).

ya know what, it seems my brother came home this night
so I'm just gonna let him do whatever he wants to do okay thanks everyone, when we will buy a new pc, I'll make sure we also buy a router and some crossover cable, or else just a wireless thingy, that seems even easier then connecting wires ![]() |
