RAM Question

Hey, I Just Bought this RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820146890 And I Was Just Wondering If Thre 2-2-2-5 1T latencies Will Be Enabled Once they RAM Is Installed, Or will i have to OC to get those latencies?

Yes, 2-2-2-5 will be set when you turn on your pc after installing that RAM.

well thats good to hear, cuz i heard a lot of people saying ther timings were at 2.5-3-3-7 and stuff :S weird

well, after winning the 1 GB XMS XLPRO RAM offa Gamershell, i got into the RAM thing too. they said i would get 2-2-2-5 latencies too, but some programs i use to monitor it deny i am running on those latencies, while other programs say i do... i will never know i guess.

I have that same exact RAM!

except I don't have revision 2, I just have the standard ones. I have had no problems with it and it works very well. Im not sure what my latencies are but it makes my games run helluv a lot faster.

There is a simple way to check your timings, it's called a bios.
