CS:S DoD:S retail

I bought hl² in a store, with CS: S. The only way to have DoD: S is to preload it, or download it when it's released and pay for it...it's 17.75$....snif

Does anyone know anything about the retail CS:S? I heard that its the only way I can get DoD:S (bought retail HL2) and that it's included with the CS:S retail. How much will it be etc. ect?

I'm talkin' UK by the way..

i've bought Half Life 2 via steam silver package. that was one thing i bought offa the internet i DIDN't REGRET. i already preloaded DoD:S and ready to play on the 26th.

and that for practacly the same price as in the store version. MUHAHAH.

yea, buying silver package off steam was definately a worthy purchase!! You get ALL the steam games, for the HL and HL2, including all the different games...for just 60$

Can't wait to play DoD:S!

Yes, but I'm sure buying of Steam isn't the only way you can get DoD:S. I'm in Ireland, and I hope the retail comes out here.

HDR in my opinion is just another sell-treat. it doesn't do sh!t and its only used for marketing and profit. i don't think that turning the brightness up with some fancy new style is gonna improve my gameplay experience too. and for the record, i play games for 50% because of the nice looking graphics. im a believer when i see (notice!) it.

but yeah, can't wait

and about lost coast, i think valve should finally finish the damn thing. i mean, new 'level'? it was announced MONTHS ago, if not YEARS, and still they are busy 'working' on it. i definately bet the level is played out faster than the FEAR singleplayer demo.

dunno DoD:s is gonna be retail worldwide, don't think that mod thing works. ah well.

I never noticed HDR in CS:S. What maps use it?
