hey andy, how'd the saturn fabrication project turn out?

I'm doin ok. really busy now days. I'm quiting at baskin robbins on april 1st haha. still workin at the coffe shop and now work full time at a body shop. I'm also goin to school, taking automotive electrical systems, welding, and symphonic band. my only real time off is thursday nights, saturday nights, and sunday afternoons. last semester was just huge headache for me in animation. I can render pretty good but the animation part was too much for me so I've dropped that and I'm not majoring in autobody. so now my artistic skills are transfering over to automotive things such as air brushing and body work. I still do alot of photoshopping though for my boss and some clients. as for the saturn its goin along pretty well. now that I work full time I have money to do stuff. I got my aem wbo2 in and I see that I'm runnin pig rich on my a/f. so I'll be getting my stand alone next month. (megasquirt v3.0) with a bit of tuning I can move my a/f at wide open throttle from 9 to 12. that should give me a significant gain in hp n/a in the 15-20hp range. once I get the hang of the standalone I'll be piecing together my turbo setup with a t3 super .60 most likely a rebuild of of a mid 80 gm vehicle. tuned well I could have 200-250hp reliably. body work will be coming, but is a bit of a secret right now.

With your skills at 3d modeling and such, I would have thought you would have went into the auto modeling for concept cars. That is where I would see you at in five years. Making cars on a puter should be right up your ally! I wish you luck in whatever you do though.

ya. well no one saw this coming especially me. I thought I'd be doing tons of 3d modeling and stuff now, but it just wasnt working for me. all that 3d stuff and art work is cool and all but i found that I didnt want to turn it into a career. I like doing things more hands on and such thus autobody came to be. I do believe I need to pick up some pencils and pastel again. I miss that stuff.

Even if you draw cars, concept cars, or parts, I would love for you to keep us up to date. I expect you to do great things.
