6 fans! I only need 2 and I am well overclocked. There have been plenty of good demos recently that have actually made me go out and acquire the full versions. Overlord, Bioshock and MoH:AA.

Bring em on I say! :starwars:

MoH:AA?? Really? I hated that! It was on my hdd all of ten minutes. I really hope that the Crysis demo can hold my attention. Other than the QW demo that hit today, I have been on my consoles. Overlord is not bad though

Damn it! I really need a new graphics card or one of the super consoles out.
Cant play anything new at all, in Bioshock the graphics were totally f*cked up.
The new Stranglehold demo for PC, didnt work. Medal of Honor: Airborne just crashed too.

But luckly i´ve got my PSP to play with, Medal of Honor: Heroes is so much fun when you play with 32 ppl online.
And i just got the game Coded arms: contagion, really fun online.
And also the game Worms open warfare 2, rock online!

But that doesnt have to do with anything, just wrote it anyway.

Can anyone recommend a good but cheap PCI-E Graphics card?

Peace

The 1950 pro is a really good cheap card that could run just about anything and is faster then most low end dx 10 cards. Should set you back 120-150 I guess.

Of course from this point on people will start advising you to save more money and get the 8800 gtx they have now and you can't afford, that's usually how it goes here. Other alternative would be to sell your current pc, buy a PS3, smack some Ubuntu or Yellow dog Linux on it as your operating system and you have the best of both worlds but that suggestion usually doesn't go down easily either.

Anyway, 1950 pro or a 7900 gt if it's cheaper (performs mildly less). Both drivers are already stable with no issues whatsoever.

Oh yes! I´m gonna buy my friends old computer, cause he bought an ibook (or what´s it called). That cost him about 1700€
So i´m gonna buy his old computer with, "Radeon 1950 pro pci-e, amd 64 3500+, 2 GB ram, plus i´ve got 2GB ram myself, A super new power supply and the motherboard is a nforce4. And it all costs me 200€ I think that´s a pretty good deal. Also get the "Chassi"

Really looking forward to that, then i´m finnaly gonna be able to play all the fancy new demos, maybe not at the highest possible FPS, but playable.

Oh yea, iam definitly gonna play my ass of with F.E.A.R. with the highest settings! Woho!

So whats the meaning with my post? Just wanted to share my happiness.

Peace out yall, and post some more funky demo tips if they appear.

PS. Stranglehold, was that a good game?

MoH:AA is not a bad game if you have a killer rig to enjoy it in its full glory. I am quite fond of WW2 shooters and it brings something else to the mix, by allowing you to start each level where you can. The attention to detail is magnificant and it is a really polished product.

The only bad thing is the load times. Even on my Raptor RAID array it takes a while. I assume it precaches a lot of content, but I really haven't looked into it.

At least the Crysis SP demo hits in six days. That should keep me occupied and I am sure that other PC demos will be hitting soon that will be great as well
