Give it a rest. If you do not like PhantomEFX, plain and simple DON'T play the games.
Since they have been rated number 1 obviously SOMEONE and quite a few do enjoy their games.
Next you go and do some digging and find hftmrocks website. You have the audacity to point out and make rude comments about the way the players look at a recent event that was held. SenatorMsFlawedLogic thanks for the theme song. It said a lot, lol.

My research Revealed that ***** was the support tech at Hoyle games during they're days of hardships and According to the games manual shes now the tech at EFX which is no secret, my inference was that the problems with hoyle games followed her to efx according to a reliable source at efx.

Here again you crossed the line. To bring a person's name up in this forum like you did is out and out defamation of character. She did not develop Hoyle games nor Phantom. She is a part of the tech support team at Phantom, that diligently works to resolve any issues players have with the game. If PhantomEFX had a problem with her she would not still be there. So to say you have a reliable source at efx doesn't wash.

Sure seems like you have an agenda here and its not just to advise consumers that want to purchase the games.
Sounds more like you got caught at some dirty deeds and this is the only way you feel you can avenge yourself.
Well nice try. But with the free trial period, consumers should be able to make up their minds themselves.

Lastly, since people chatting while playing seemed to be a sore point with you. Stick to playing all the other games you have....you will not be missed over at Phantom. We as a community enjoy getting to know each other.

The reference to chatting while playing was one of typing not using other modes of communication.
But, my other points still stand as initially stated.

Gazz's point of view:

-I must admit Dingo2008 makes a point when he refers too the case of a game and website not being really clear on a monthly subscription. Google helped me find some of the cases of your games on high resolution scans and they leave much to be desired. Calling it misleading advertising would be too much, but you guys could be a bit clearer towards potential customers.

-Putting real life names on this forum might be a bit too much and I am with the guys of Phantomefx on this. I thought about cleaning out the names, but I am hoping the names will disappear by themselves. Every user has an edit button for their own posts which can also delete names from quotes, I suggest using it since it's the proper thing to do. Please don't make me do it since I am no fun when I am pissed.

-Having your daughter play poker online might not have been the best thing to do, but it sure wasn't illegal. As a company you are responsible for the behaviour of all your customers and if some choose to misbehave you can be held accountable.

-If you guys disagree with Dingo2008 then don't try to make several accounts with the similar ip's in an attempt to make it look like several people disagree with him.

-Dingo2008, try pressing the enter key 2-3 times after a few sentences, that long post was a bitch to read. I quickly inserted a few spaces myself in one of your posts since it was too long and confusing to start with.

-I've been to the forums again and the way this site behaves towards complaints make me think of Starforce, a terrible copyprotection that isn't used any more because many people opposed it and posted over the net. Perhaps you guys really need to get together and rethink your strategy before you get financially damaged by your own decisions.

-Talking online during the game? Trough messaging or voip? Messaging is so 90's, switch to voip, the majority of your customers will do so too in a matter of months. As a benefit, talking doesn't slow down the game that much as typing.

-Stop talking in red, are you 12?

gazz: as far aI know from reading this thread nobody here is a employee of phantom nor claims to be so by sayign that YOUR SITE, YOUR INSTRUCTIONS etc.. well its falling on deaf ears here as you see many of the people who have posted NICELY about the games also explained they too see the defects.

For this dingomoron to go talking about PLAYERS they have never met in person or otherwise really shows his shallow character. he doesn't KNOW ME! I am damn sure he doesn't know any of the other people he so carelessly talked about. Nobody is perfect least of all dingodumbshIt. To attack people of a gaming community is ridiculous when nobody there provoked him in any way that we know of. I think he is just upset because he didn't get to come party with us. I would rathe rbe a FLUFFY or TWIGGY person any day than be an IDIOT.....

Ok, short summary. Unfortunately the guy edited his posts completely so I can't reread it.

Guy gets pissed over the unclear conditions of a monthly subscription, and he makes a point. The website itself needs to be clearer on that, I had a hard time finding it too.

Several people from this website and a fansite show up to defend themselves cause they fell offended over commentary on the website (I support his claims to an extent although he could have chosen some better words) and the people who are on it, their looks in particular. In my opinion anyone who put up their picture on the net must be able to withstand criticism.

The rest of the topic is mostly filled with people calling eachother idiots and singing songs to each other

So if I have this right, the sites subscription terms are unclear, guy gets pissed cause its not what he thought, bitched at that site, was censored, came here to vent, ppl from the site came to defend themselves, and now there is just a bunch of name calling and crybaby crap here. Correct?

Seems to me that if the said person was that unhappy, they should have just refunded his money, changed the conditions of the monthly subscription or been more clear and been done with it. That most likely would have avoided this whole thing. Assuming I am understanding the problem

I'd like to take a minute and point out that your summary of the events is completely mistaken. He posted several questions about the game in our help section, I replied honestly, he took the answers as meaning we allow cheaters then preceded to post all the topis around other forums. The people from our forum preceded to post in his topic here, he then posted personal information about the employees at the company, then started insulting the fans. Afte seeing that I then removed the post from our forum. Not once during the whole event did we censor him. Our terms of use are also quite visible when he creates the account, and like 99 percent of MMO's on the market we bill monthly unless canceled. Thanks.

Fair enough. Like I said, my outlook on the situation was based on what was in my forums. I do not agree with the posting of any personal info being shared without consent.

As for the insults and such, being an online company, you are subject to criticism and insults. That is just the way it works. If I did get my assessment of the situation wrong, I apologize however, being a business, you should know that the customer is always right and just a little bit being nice most likely would have prevented this whole thing.
