love the riaa

One of my friends at school is the one and only person in charleston wv getting sued by the riaa!!!

the funniest part of it is that she did not download anything it was her roommate but the internet service is in her name so my friend angie is getting for her roommate's (amy) stupididy!!!!

what i find funniest is i know people at school who dl far more crap than angie and still angie is the only person in charleston to get busted

Uhm sorry but there is no such thing as an IP blocker. Such a thing would prevent your internet from even working since TCP/IP protocol requires it. Firewalls do not block your IP either.

There are bouncers and proxies, but I won't get into that.

I just have a firewall and haven't uploaded files through mp3 since 1999, so I should be ok.

It's not just uploaders though, they are tracking downloaders as well. They set up fake dummy files that will load the RIAA's secret spyware on your computer and it will track your ip and stuff.

the plugin for kazaa is called ip blocker and i know how the internet works very well as that is what i am in school for but if you scearch the term ipblocker you will find a plugin for kazaa that helps keep you safe from the riaa malicious attacks look up next time before you want to give someone a leson on how transmittion control protocol/internet protocol works and a firewall would keep the trojan horse the riaa uses from sending out any information to the riaa

modock is 100% right, there is such a thing, and I actually use it (it's built-in into latest versions of kazaa lite).

Guys, there are a lot more spy programmes than you could imagine.

There is a software that cleans them called "Spybot Search&Destroy" :thumbup: and they update it frequently.

i run it on my comp about every few weeks,and it says im spyware free

No, Adaware sucks. Run Adaware and then run Spybot, and Spybot will still find ads.
