Back in 92, I worked at a lumber mill. Lots of weird stuff was happening. I was on my way to work early one morning, listening to the radio, some djs came on and started chatting to each other. I reached over to change the station, when 1 dj said "Stop, wait, you have to hear this, its very important" He said(to the other dj) there is a new scam at the festival this year(Rose Festival) Its called the ketchup on the lapel routine. Some guy will bump into you and smear ketchup on your chest and while he is wiping it and apologizing, his buddy will steal your valuables" I get to work and everybody is all pissed off, yelling, screaming, 2 fistfights break out between good friends. I had a couple of boards get thrown at my head, 1 I ducked the other knocked my hard hat off. One guy, a real nice puerto rican came up and started jabberring about his gun(I knew he had a permit for concealed weapons and brought it to work everyday)but today he was differrent, sweaty, pupils dialated, pale etc. No he didnt do drugs. I started thinking about ketchup and blood are the same color maybe I would get shot, the way people were acting. Anyhow, last 2 hrs of the day I was simply feeding 2x6x8 boards onto the belt. I would grab 3 at a time, bring them over in an arc, and slam them down to the belt. When I brought some boards up to slam them down, at the top of my arc my grip slipped slightly and the board in the middle slipped free and slammed right into my chest just like a 2x6x8 stake. I fell to one knee grabbed my chest and moaned. When I opened my eyes I looked down and there was a blood stain on my white t-shirt right where the lapel would be. It started itching right away and kept itching untill it healed. Even today under certain circumstances it will begin to itch. It almost feels like little claws tearing at a wound.
This wasnt the weirdest thing by far, just the easiest to explain.
