How can people be so stupid?!

OK, as many of you are aware I am in the process of upgrading my broadband to 1megabit. I was told that there would be a maximum waiting time of 20 days before I would be up and running with 1mgbt, and about a 1 week period in which I would have no broadband. I have now been waiting 28 days, and have been over 2 weeks with only a dial-up 56k connection.

As if this wasn't annoying enough... We were contacted 2 days ago and told that our line is now live and useable... But, f**k know's why, we haven't been sent our login details. We were informed that our username/password etc. will be given to us "shortly".

Today is a bank holiday, and therefore we cannot contact the providers. Then we have a weekend... And they close at weekends. After that we have another bank holiday on monday. To cut a long story short, I will have to wait at least a week after my line has been declared active before I can actually use it! Also, I will have waited 3 weeks without broadband access, when we were promised a maximum wait of 1. To top it all off, I'm in the middle of a school holiday, and so all of my time is spent at home getting more and more impatient and more and more annoyed!!!

Yeah, have her link a network cable across the trees to your house.. one of my brothers friends has a friend across the street that has a T3 cable line, and shares it with my brothers friend... it's going across trees too.. lol

it's too hard to find a decent gal who is single and has high-speed internet access over here, not nearly as many people in the UK have access to broadband as they do in other areas. at the moment i'm resorting to leeching off of my brother, but i can't really stay round his place for ages to do my browsing and *ahem* other stuff

as for getting out in the sun... i don't know what it's like where you live, but over here we're getting constant showers :nxs:

Well that sucks dude but hopefully it will all be resolved soon AND don't take that crap from them put some C4 in the trunk of an old car then ram it into the front of their office building and make sure to jump out before impact. That will teach them not to take their sweet time with paying customers like yourself. :P
