did anyone here go to the download festival!!?? jesus it was good 48 hours of the best live metal music you could ever ask for!!

could people please post up some tour dates of some decent metal bands?

ofc I know it!! Next monday i'm going to see MetallicA, KoRn and Slipknot!!

i was at DOWNLOAD it totaly kicked man, it rocked, slipknot blew me away, korn blew me away, i was mildly amused by metallica (quite a funny guy) soulfly was ace, machine head really blew me away, as did damage plan, when they played "walk" dude the pit...no not the pit, the whole f**king place went crazy with a capital K.

damage plan was one of the major highlights of the whole thing!

i got there friday at about 11 and was queing (man that was gay) for like 2 hours, had food, had booze, got stoned out of my face, was awesome

satday, i felt like shit (hangover) wasnt really interested in most bands on satday, gotta say monster magnet where crazy (throwing a guitar at the crowd, jesus) static didnt show which i was sooooo pissed about cos they where the reason i woke up at all on satday, soil was delayed till sunday, which again pissed me off, linkin park was pretty damn awesome, also was quite suprised by powder, they put on a decent show.

sunday, was bliss, watched a couple (breed 77 etc) cradle of filth was amazing (not too keen on the sound but the show rocked (woman on a ribbon and a rope, thought she was gonna twang into the crowd) ill nino was cool better than i thought they would be, turbonegro was comic relief "i have erection" wtf, i was in the pit pretty much from there on, soulfly (water break) machinehead, slipknot, korn (very sweaty and dehydrated, have super water break) metallica (rest) went home that night thanks to a generous dad of a mate, man i was tired

had major sunburn, had, and still have a crazy white line on my head where i was wearing a f**king head band (well i say head band i mean my mates sleave, which by the way he burned off almost setting himself on fire in the process

the shitters were suprisingly good considering, all in all an amazing weekend, spoilt by crap organisation and stupidly long ques, oh and we cant forget the amazing prices for food and dringk, specially booze *sarcasm* 30 notes for a 24 pach, around mine its 48cans for 20quid, the prices where soooo bad, the rest kicked

as for gigs the only one i really care for is the slipknot slayer tour, its got a name but i cant think of it atm, its gonna be freaking amazing

what are the dates for the slip slayer tour?

Sucks that i hate Metal. They scream pointlesly and you can barely understand wtf their singing. Im sorry not a big Metal fan. I some times combine Some good guitar sound and drums with Rap sound awsome.
