2 things:
first: hl2 does look good
Doom3 was a lot of fun
and u can't deny Q3A's MP style r0xs
but they all have notable weakpoints(HL2 has no actual MP.. there won't be any combine vs rebel fighing, real shame, and CSS.. 8-9 maps.. havana and persani are usless so more like 6-7... skipped good ones like inferno, nuke, assault. only 1-2 gamemodes.. etc. and thats just from information released right now..)(Doom3 has shit MP, some repetativness. too much dedication to fanboys.. didn't exploit technology enough..)(Q3.. no damn SP!)

Its being stupid to think that one of those games is 100% the best and that its flat out better in all aspects then the other 2, or even other games. hell its not even out yet. Thats why I used the terms "hands down on all accounts the best ever no matter what" to show that saying yes to that would be neglecting the obvious information.. and pickign HL2.. which isn't even out.. or the other 2(doom3 no MP, q3.. no SP) would just be stupid. Yet you would be really surprised how many people would pick a game like that. (Hl2 has a huge fanboy following as everyone knows, D3 has some very dedicated fanboys, same with Q3)
So voting for HL2 is even MORE ignorant.. im just saying.. itll weed out a lot of the people that don't keep their minds open.

Im not much of a fanboy of anything.. I may be personally more partial to some things.. but what I say is nearly always relivally neutral. I may support linux.. but sometimes I argue with myself if there really is a real point in using it. I may be PERSONALLY more partial to ATi(for reasons of nvidia f**king me over).. but I do give proper neutral analyzations of where to get what and how its really unfair to decide until the drivers balance out...(I spent the ATi>Nvidia topic pointing out Atis failures in manufacturing.. while saying not a word against nvidia.)
As for games.. Too much its personal taste.. thats why i spent about 20,000+ words aruging for Doom3.. but never posted a review for it. Same with Ut2k4. Reviews are personal opinions, however anayltical, they leave too much open for attack. It would be pointless for me to score Ut a 9/10 and give RavenShield an 8/10.. when i know people would disagree saying Ut is unrealstic crap compared to RS3.
Ill argue points.. Ill stay neutral.. Ill analyize.. I will keep my personal preferences subdued, and I will prove and backup what I say. But I doubt Ill ever post a review.. might do for MoHPA.. just for laughs.
Also.. iver never played hl2 and won't buy it until I see a hypless reviewer like gamespot review it.
Doom3 had faults but Im willing to realize its technological strength, and a great game overall(definatly an 80s game.. not at all bad..it has its amazing points).
I don't even own Q3... but I repsect its precidents.. and REALLY respect its style.
