I've noticed (and I know I'm making a huge generalization about this) that the newer people I've seen coming to the forums have been mainly fueling these threads and starting them. They start arguing with each other and generally don't have much respect for other people's opinions in such threads as these. I know, I'm being a huge bastard for saying this because I've only been an actual member of the forums for about 3 months. But I mean... there's a certain etiquette to it that they seem to be missing some/most of the time. We've all been new here at some point, maybe we all started this way and gradually "mellow out," but jesus christ just... get along or something. Disagree sure but don't say go off on a tangent and say something like "Oh yeah well you're retarded for even caring about stupid game X" or even further "Yeah well I had sex with your MOM last night. BOOYA"

That last part probably never happened, but I'm just trying to make a point.

And it'd be sweet if there was a jetski in HL2. I don't doubt that there is with the capabilities of this game, but if someone could direct us to some screens for proof, that'd be nice too.

I used to like these forums because the people seemed to be at least a slight bit educated.. but in the last month or 2.. I have definatly seen the number of pointless flames rise, the amount of posts by people with a brain decrease, and the use of facts and evidence nearly disappear.

I remember back in the HL2-D3 arguements I could actually get information and tech stuff to backup my arguements.. but todays arguements aren't even fact based.. they are just flame based by noob, there is nothing to disprove.. their arguemnts all seem to be personal attacks.

This actually may come as a shock to you, but Sepht is not new to this environment by any means, and he doesn't act like he knows everything. He states facts. So if he knows all the facts, them "by george" I guess he knows everything.
