Personally I'm against these things. As for the developers, what if they are collaborated? Lol! ^^v

I do hope not... Power levelling and gold selling and also botting are the diseases in mmos and should be treated early to avoid outbursts.

A large part of the enjoyment of playing an MMO (for me anyway) is all the stuff along the way to the level cap. The endgame raids are cool but usually take forever to get set up so I solo most of the time.

People are free to play a game however they like but when you are paying someone to play the game for you...it just seems like a waste to me.

dkcecil: well said, it's the journey that matters (and the loot you get to pick up on the way)

those gold sellers are the main reason for economy imbalance in-game and also some of them are hackers.. i haven't tried it and never will.. what's the sense of having a character that is max level with all good items if you really don't play it at all.. lol.. waste of money..

I've heard of a few of my friends being hacked in WoW, but none in Aion yet. I suppose though, it's only a matter of time. I wouldn't trust my info with anyone, not even someone I know.

in my old game there's this player that got hacked by his friend..
they are IRL friends who play this game while he's still in the
Philippines, then he got the opportunity to go abroad and still
playing the game but since it's a local game he can't top up or
buy load for premium items so he ask help from his friend..

at first it went smoothly until one time when there's this major event
and he really wanted to join so he send more money than what he usually send to his friend to buy load for him but unfortunately this friend of him didn't reply anymore and when he logged in his account it's totally naked..
he even went home to PH just to talk to his friend personally but he's not there anymore someone says he's already in the province.. too bad because if he needed money his friend was more than willing to lend him because he helped him so much..

just want to share.. im not saying that we should not trust our real life friends but we have to remember that sometimes we are also the one who's tempting them to do things that may lead for the friendship to be broken..

whats the point of sign-up to a game, paying a fee (if applicable) just to have someone else to play for you? i mean, a game is a game coz you play it. wheres the fun in power-leveling and botting? sure, you get to brag about your high-level character, but thing is, bragging rights are earning through effort. you also lose a lot since you wont know the ins and outs of the game if someone/thing else played it for you.

@loveme..your name is so long to type XD
ive heard of similar incidents like that, though the culprit didn't run away to the provinces. of course the victim never trusted the guy anymore. and theres this one instance the bandmate of a friend of mine actually gave the guy who scammed him a knuckle sandwhich XD
